Relativity Space, Inc. is hiring for an integrated performance role focused on validating and maturing hardware designs for Terran R. You will work across vehicle systems to drive analysis-driven decisions, ensuring loads and dynamics meet stringent requirements.

The team collaborates across propulsion, manufacturing, software, and avionics, with autonomy and impact at every level. A strong background in dynamic analysis and a passion for aerospace are essential.

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree with emphasis on mechanics and vibrations; graduate coursework preferred.
• Experience with Finite Element or other dynamic response modeling.
• Experience with testing, instrumentation, and data analysis.
• Fluency in Python, MATLAB, or similar programming languages for engineering analysis.
• Familiarity with statistics and data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Drive maturation of hardware designs and ops decisions through analysis and cross-team communication.
• Develop Dynamic loads, levels, and criteria from concept through data review for Terran R hardware.
• Inform primary structure design and customer load inputs through Coupled Loads Analysis.
• Develop and validate random vibration and shock specs; ensure hardware qualification to specs.
• Build, validate, and document analytical models to generate component load predictions.
