Job summary

Kemp Quarries, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate midsize to large loaders and support on-site loading, offloading, and equipment maintenance at our Seligman, MO site.

This role requires the ability to work outdoors in all weather, follow safety procedures, and function as part of a team. Responsibilities include operating mining and processing equipment, loading stockpiled materials onto trucks, and assisting with rail car offloading.

Qualifications

• Experience operating midsize to large front-end loaders.
• Mechanical experience is a plus.
• Strong safety, behavior, and attendance record required.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions.
• Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor mobile aggregate mining and processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load stockpiled product onto customer trucks/trailers.
• Operate and troubleshoot the scale computer, remote scale touchscreen and printer.
• Offload product from rail cars into onsite stockpiles.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment.
