Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator II (Loader Operator) in Illinois to transport materials within the quarry, load trucks, and feed crushers as needed. The role requires operating loaders and other heavy equipment with safety as a priority.

You should have the ability to read and write and a high school diploma or GED. The job offers hourly pay, shift work, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: Ability to read and write.
• Additional Education Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loaders (e.g., 993s, 992s, 988s, 980s) and other heavy equipment.
• Move materials to piles, trucks, or crushers per production needs.
• Inspect equipment per shift and report issues to supervisor.
• Correct malfunctions or report safety hazards if not fixable.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Take accurate material counts as required.
• Communicate with quality and production teams for blends and needs.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.
• Willingness to work in a team and assist others.
