Job summary

Cemex US is seeking an Operator Loader to safely operate front-end loaders for moving bulk materials within the Clermont, Florida facility. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and regular equipment maintenance to ensure efficient production.

The Loader Operator will verify material quantities, assist with feeding conveyors and hoppers, and coordinate with plant personnel to optimize operations while complying with site procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Be able to read, write, and speak English.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with heavy equipment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader to lift and transport bulk materials to storage areas, conveyors, hoppers, or trucks/railcars.
• Start engine, shift gears, and control loader using levers and pedals as directed.
• Perform routine maintenance: lubrication, fueling, cleaning, and basic inspections.
• Ensure material quality by verifying quantities in storage and maintaining feed levels.
• Adhere to safety standards and wear required PPE at all times.
