Job summary

Harrison Construction Company, a CRH Company, is seeking workers for quarry operations across eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina. The role involves maintenance and operation of conveyor, screening and crushing equipment, and loading aggregate materials with a front-end loader.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examines parts for damage or excessive wear.
• Cleaning material from cars that are being returned.
• Checking material being loaded for quality.
• Being able to retrieve and write car numbers down accurately. Shoveling and cleaning.
• Load haul trucks, load customer trucks, feed portable plant, stockpile and load bins.
• Operate haul truck and water truck.
• Knowledge of mining equipment and their uses.
• Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications.
• Perform work with safety as a priority.
• Maintain reliable attendance and positive attitude.

Job Description

• This position will require the employee to perform any combination of the following duties within the quarry. Fill in at several operations as needed due to workload, vacations, or employee leaves. This position involves the maintenance and operation of conveyor, screening and crushing equipment, and the operation of a front-end loader, for the purpose of loading aggregate materials.
