Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Loader Operator to run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment in our plant operations. You will move materials, load trucks, and collaborate with the production team to maintain a steady flow of cement and aggregates.

Ideal candidates are safety‑minded, physically capable, and able to communicate well with coworkers. Training is provided, and a valid driver’s license is required. This is a local, on‑site role with opportunities to grow within a nationwide company.

Qualifications

• Experience loading trucks with loaders is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Commitment to safety for self and team.
• Ability to inspect and perform basic equipment fixes.
• Team player with good communication and readiness to work.
• Able to move in various weather conditions.
• Pre-employment screenings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
• Work with crew to keep production on schedule.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report issues.
• Follow safety rules and wear protective gear.
• Keep work area clean and organized for safety.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Take the wheel of powerful front‑end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant—keeping our concrete flowing and our operations moving.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors so our team always has the materials they need.
• Work side‑by‑side with your crew and production team to keep things running on schedule.
• Check your equipment before and after each shift, and let the team know if something needs fixing—your safety and theirs comes first.
• Follow all safety rules, wear your gear, and help keep the plant a safe place for everyone.
• Pitch in to keep your work area clean and organized—because a tidy site is a safer site.
• Help count inventory and make sure we never run low on the materials that keep us going.
• Share your ideas with plant leaders and help us get better every day.
• Be ready to lend a hand wherever you’re needed—whether it’s helping a teammate or jumping in on a tough job.

What Sets You Apart

• Experience running loaders or other big machines is great, but if you’re willing to learn and work hard, we’ll train you.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• You care about safety—yours and your team’s—and you’re not afraid to speak up if something’s not right.
• You know how to check your equipment and handle basic fixes.
• You’re a team player who communicates well and shows up ready to work.
