Job summary

Smyrna Ready Mix, LLC is seeking a Loader Operator to run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment in our Naples, FL plant. You’ll help move sand, gravel, and cement, load trucks, and keep operations flowing safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders or other large equipment is a plus, but training is provided.
• Emphasis on safety and following procedures to protect yourself and teammates.
• Strong communication and teamwork to coordinate with crew.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a hands-on role.
• Reliable attendance and physical ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to ensure material availability.
• Collaborate with the crew to keep operations on schedule.
• Inspect equipment before/after shifts and report any issues.
• Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist in counting inventory and ensuring steady material supply.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve processes.
• Lend a hand as needed to support teammates and operations.
• Maintain a ready-to-work attitude and respond to changing priorities.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Take the wheel of powerful front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant—keeping our concrete flowing and our operations moving.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors so our team always has the materials they need.
• Work side-by-side with your crew and production team to keep things running on schedule.
• Check your equipment before and after each shift, and let the team know if something needs fixing—your safety and theirs comes first.
• Follow all safety rules, wear your gear, and help keep the plant a safe place for everyone.
• Pitch in to keep your work area clean and organized—because a tidy site is a safer site.
• Help count inventory and make sure we never run low on the materials that keep us going.
• Share your ideas with plant leaders and help us get better every day.
• Be ready to lend a hand wherever you’re needed—whether it’s helping a teammate or jumping in on a tough job.

What Sets You Apart

• Experience running loaders or other big machines is great, but if you’re willing to learn and work hard, we’ll train you.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• You care about safety—yours and your team’s—and you’re not afraid to speak up if something’s not right.
• You know how to check your equipment and handle basic fixes.
• You’re a team player who communicates well and shows up ready to work.
• You’re physically able to handle a job that keeps you moving in all kinds of weather.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful, but not required.
• Willingness to complete our pre-employment screenings.
