Job summary

Adams Bros. Concrete Products Ltd. in Kentucky seeks a Loader Operator I to assist the Plant Supervisor with daily production duties by operating heavy equipment and loading trucks on site.

Responsibilities include operating a front-end loader, performing routine maintenance, cleaning areas, following safety procedures, and supporting team efforts during downtime or equipment breakdowns while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Entry level – 2 years of loader operator experience.
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment accurately, efficiently and safely.
• Operate a front-end loader in the yard to load trucks and production facilities on site.
• Assist in the event of a breakdown.
• Clean up around concrete plant and surrounding area.
• Lubricate and perform general maintenance on the equipment.
• Follow directions and work with the team.
• Perform other duties including light yard and shop maintenance.

The loader operator I is responsible for assisting the Plant Supervisor with daily production duties by operating heavy equipment and performing other miscellaneous plant-related functions.

Essential Functions

• Ability to operate various pieces of heavy equipment, depending on the job site, accurately, efficiently, and safely.
• This position is responsible for operating a front-end loader in the yard for the purposes of loading trucks and production facilities on site.
• Must be able to assist in the event of a breakdown.
• Clean up around concrete plant and surrounding area.
• Lubricate and perform general maintenance on the equipment.
• Ability to follow directions.
• All other duties as assigned, including but not limited to light yard and shop maintenance.
