Job summary

Darling Ingredients in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Laborer to operate loaders, forklifts, bobcat and yard tractor pumps and to assist with daily sanitation and material handling.

You will need to climb tanks, log all movements accurately, follow safety procedures and GMP guidelines, and be timely. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, at least 18 years old, 1 year of skid loader or shag truck experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating a skid loader or shag truck.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Good work history and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operates skid loader, payloader, forklifts, bobcat and yard tractor.
• Unload raw material. Washes trailers and tankers.
• Documents all movements accurately.
• Shovels, sweeps and washes plant. Completes daily sanitation tasks.
• Follows all safety procedures, GMPs and guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
• Must be timely.
