Job summary

Ecovyst, Inc. seeks a Loader for Ecoservices in Long Beach, CA. This eight-hour rotating shift role focuses on loading and unloading railcars and trucks safely and efficiently. The position offers $43.41 per hour and a full benefits package.

Responsibilities include guiding tank truck drivers, inspecting equipment, operating the track mobile, monitoring the DCS system, and documenting work orders. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds.
• Must be able to wear a full-face respirator.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist or direct tank truck drivers to safely load or unload materials.
• Perform inspections of tanks, trucks, railcars and equipment.
• Monitor loading/unloading activity including DCS system and respond to deviations.
• Inspect and operate track mobile to move railcars within plant.
• Gauge tank levels and placard railcars.
• Use heavy hand tools for railcar work.
• Complete minor autonomous maintenance as required.
• Perform tank valve line ups.
• Ensure smooth shift change and hand off information to oncoming shift.
• Enter work notifications/orders and incident reports.
• Support site turnaround activities as required.
• On the job training required: Track mobile, DOT.
