Job summary

NFI is seeking a Loader and Unloader in Jacksonville, FL to move materials, supplies, and finished goods around the facility, manually or by hand truck, and to prepare trailers for loading.

You will set up dock doors, secure trailers, operate a golf cart to transport materials, and perform duties to keep the work area safe and organized. Candidates must be physically capable and available for irregular hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks daily.
• Must be able to reach, push, pull, bend, walk and stand.
• Ability and availability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail and strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up dock door for spotter to bring trailer in.
• Pattern load in system and secure trailer at dock.
• Unhook trailer when loading is complete and relocate materials as needed.
• Inflate air bags and install bulkheads for loads as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area and perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

The Loader and Unloader is responsible for manually or by hand truck move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility.

Responsibilities

• Set up dock door for spotter to bring trailer in
• Pattern load in system
• Secure trailer once in dock door (stand, dock plate, dock lock, etc.)
• Unhook trailer once loading is complete
• Inflate air bags as needed
• Locate and install bulkheads for loads as needed
• Performs other related task to keep work area safe, clean and organized
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of weight.
• Must be able to reach, push, pull, bend, walk and stand.
• Must be able to operate a golf cart to transport materials and travel through facility
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
