Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.50 Hourly

Position Title: Manufacturing Associate

Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Associate assists with all areas of manufacturing, not limited to: blending, filling, trucks, rail, loading, grinding, forklift (as needed), to meet customer needs. Ability to lift heavy loads. You should be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in all areas of Manufacturing as needed
• Maintain safety and housekeeping needs
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks (e.g. digging, stacking up goods, etc.)
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety rules
• Must be able to complete simple math (addition, subtraction & multiplication)
• Assist in the training of current and new employees
• Basic Mechanical skills (how to turn a wrench and use hand tools properly)

Measurement

The Manufacturing Associate is measured according to the following criteria:

• On-time production fulfillment
