Job summary

Quirch Foods, LLC is seeking a Loader in Hammond, LA to pick, pack, and unload product shipments. You will operate forklifts, manage inventory, and ensure accurate receiving and staging of orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The position requires experience with scanners and forklifts, a readiness to work in cold conditions, and adherence to safety standards. You will join a team focused on efficiency, accuracy, and timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent reading and writing in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, and shipping papers.
• Ability to operate forklifts and handheld scanners with training.
• Familiar with CK31 & CK71 scanners is a plus.
• Forklift and OSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products upon receipt for damages.
• Operate forklift and electric pallet jack as needed.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean, maintain inventory.
• Perform inventory cycle counts as required.
• Scan and route all PO documentation to accounting.
• Pick POS orders for customer pickups.
• Rotate stock to ensure product quality.
• Receive trucks and unload/load to meet PO requirements.
• Process and restock returns when necessary.
• Scan and label products according to requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventories and facility assets.
