Job summary

Drgok at Altus AFB seeks an incumbent-eligible candidate to support C-17 training devices, assisting with setup, configuration and preparation for scheduled lessons.

You will help with cargo loading/unloading training activities, perform routine inspections and maintenance, and coordinate with instructors and maintenance personnel to meet training requirements while keeping a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must currently be sitting in the position to be considered for this role.
• Candidate must currently be performing the duties and responsibilities associated with the position.
• Position requires a Technical College Degree or certificate in mechanical, automotive, electrical, aviation maintenance, logistics, or a related technical field.
• 1 year of related hands-on experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and related work experience totaling a minimum of 2 years.
• Previous experience with aircraft cargo operations, loadmaster support, material handling, military vehicles, heavy equipment, or training devices is preferred.
• Must be able to safely operate applicable support and material handling equipment.
• Must be able to lift and move equipment and materials as required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• Must be willing to work any shift or day of the week as required.
• Candidate must meet all applicable position, program, and site requirements.
