  • Previous experience in distribution/deployment planning and scheduling, route planning, etc.
  • Proficiency in Windows based applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, verbal, and written skills.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft-based applications.
  • Strong Excel (Pivot tables, V-Lookup).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to schedule and plan.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Reviews available loads for a specific region and assigns to drivers based on driver HOS, utilization and least cost routing.
  • Integrates technology: including PC Miller, Samsara etc. into the preplanning process.
  • Administers various aspects of drivers' HOS compliance program.
  • Maintains strong communication and working relationships with the Regional Logistics teams.
  • Ensures load plan meet all DOT compliance requirements.
  • Operates within a prescribed daily operational plan relative to budgeted hours and on-time performance.
  • Some travel to fleet sites is required: 0-25%

Clean Harbors in Norwell, MA is looking for a Load Planner to join their safety conscious team! The Load Planner is an administrative role that is responsible for coordinating the efficient use of regional equipment and manpower to provide logistical services for internal and external customers.
