Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a Load Planner in Cactus, TX to coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, and Customer Service for efficient asset and personnel planning. You will relay pickup/delivery details to driver managers and carriers, resolve loading or equipment issues with the warehouse, and help ensure on-time shipments while meeting ROI targets.

The role requires truck dispatch/planning experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Truck dispatch/planning/distribution experience required.
• Basic computer skills in CPS, Outlook and Excel. Experience with transportation software is preferred.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Shipper/trucking industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Sales/Warehouse to ensure customers’ needs are met by effective planning of assets and personnel.
• Effectively communicate pickup and delivery information to driver managers.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

• Base salary range of $45,000.00 to $47,000.00;


• This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s quarterly bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program
