Job summary

Vestis® in Lexington, KY is seeking a warehouse team member to support the industrial laundry facility. You will handle merchandise safely and accurately as part of a team, following load sheets and guidelines to meet production goals.

The role includes lifting up to 20 lbs, moving carts up to 300 lbs, and potentially working weekends with overtime as needed. This position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand training and instructions, written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of basic math and measurement.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team per the production plan.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule; shift work and weekends may apply.
• Overtime required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Becomes familiar with load sheet and builds loads one day ahead.
• Follow load building guidance and load products by weight, size, and type.
• Identify and segregate mats not meeting quality requirements.
• Monitor merchandise for quality standards.
• Maneuver carts and adhere to safety standards for heavy loads.
• Inform supervisor of shortages per reporting process.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment; perform other duties as assigned.
