Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Vista, CA is seeking a Load Builder to assemble customer orders from finished products, organizing them into route carts and designated storage. This non-exempt role reports to the Production Manager and supports on-time delivery.

Daily tasks include reviewing packing requirements, identifying shortages, following procedures, and logging activity in Spindle. You must stand and lift up to 25 pounds in an industrial laundry setting with PPE.

• Recognize product colors, sizes and types.
• Inspection of finished products for quality concerns.

Classification: Non-exempt

The Load Builder receives finished products from production departments and organizes them into route carts or bins for delivery or storage. You will assemble customer orders for shipment as part of the production and distribution team. The Load-Builder reports to the Production Manager.

You Will:

• Receive finished, cleaned products from production departments and organize them for order assembly.
• Review packing requirements and place correct products into designated route carts, bins, or storage locations.
• Maintain product flow in the load-building area to support delivery schedules.
• Identify and report product shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns to management.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and safety standards, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Log in and out of Spindle (internal productivity tracking system).

What You Bring:

• Recognize product colors, sizes, and types.
• Counting and sorting of textiles for order assembly.
• Inspection of finished products to identify quality concerns.
• Follow written packing instructions and operational procedures.

Work Environment and Requirements:

• You will perform physical tasks throughout the work shift. These tasks include standing and walking for extended periods; reach overhead; push and pull carts or bins; grasp and handle textiles; lift up to 25 pounds; and stoop or bend.
• Work in production areas of an industrial laundry facility may include exposure to temperature variations, humidity, odors, lint, and dust.
