Overview

Salary: $18.00 hourly

The associate is responsible for building loads for deliveries. Additionally, the Yard Person must maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard, load and unload lumber and building supplies, and operate a forklift. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

1. Build loads for delivery
2. Load and unload lumber and building supplies
3. Operate a forklift
4. Keep management informed of any delays or discrepancies
5. Maintain the lumber yard in a clean, organized, and safe condition

Qualifications

1. Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; capable of writing simple correspondence; effectively present information one-on-one.
2. Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one- or two-step instructions; handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
