Job summary

LongTerm Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead a skilled nursing facility with focus on quality patient care and regulatory compliance. You will manage operations, budgets, staffing, and performance improvement while guiding a multidisciplinary team to achieve census and financial goals.

The role demands strong leadership, adherence to CMS/state regulations, and a resident-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LNHA license in the applicable state.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or related field preferred.
• Experience leading a skilled nursing/long-term care facility.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state nursing facility regulations and survey processes.
• Proven ability to manage staff, budgets, quality initiatives, and facility operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day-to-day operational management of the facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and licensing requirements.
• Maintain a culture of resident-centered care, safety, dignity, and quality.
• Lead and support department directors, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Oversee policies, procedures, and regulatory surveys, audits, inspections, and complaints.
• Develop and monitor the facility's annual operating budget, census goals, labor costs, and financial performance.
• Promote quality outcomes and regulatory compliance with clinical leadership.
