Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care during day shifts. Responsibilities include vital signs, mobility support, and personal care in a 7am–7pm schedule with a $750 sign-on bonus.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, NH LNA license, and BLS certification; 1–2 years of related experience preferred. Lifting up to 50 lbs and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Licenses: BLS Certification and LNA NH license required/preferred by NH board.
• Experience: 1–2 years clinical/medical office or nursing assistant preferred.
• Knowledge: basic nursing assistant practices, patient rights and confidentiality.
• Communication: good written and oral communication skills.
• Physical: ability to lift 50 pounds independently.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records Vital Signs and weights per policy.
• Provide hands on patient/client care.
• Grooming and personal care of patient/client.
• Feeds or assists patients with meals and provides nourishment according to care plan.
• Collects and bags soiled linen and delivers to dirty linen area.
• Assists physician and/or licensed nurse with treatments and procedures as needed.
• Toileting and incontinence care for patient/client.
• Reports changes in patient’s condition to charge nurse or supervisor.
