Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide essential basic care to patients on the night shift. Onsite at 789 Central Avenue, Dover, NH, you will assist with bathing, mobility, and daily activities while supporting the nursing team.

You will take vital signs, collect specimens, and report changes promptly. Cross-training to scrub into OR for C-sections may occur. A $750 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Licenses: BLS Certification; LNA - NH Board of Nursing required.
• Experience: 1-2 years preferred in clinical/medical office/managed care or Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care: bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, toileting.
• Take vital signs, obtain specimens, observe and report information; basic first aid.
• Cross train to scrub into OR to assist with C-Sections.

Job Summary

Salary range: $19.47 - $31.09$750 Sign on Bonus!7pm -7am

Responsible for providing basic nursing care which includes assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, and toileting. Also responsible for taking vital signs, obtaining specimens, observing and reporting information and basic first aid. Will cross train to scrub into OR to assist with C-Sections.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
• Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required
• Nursing Assistant [LNA - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board of Nursing required
• Experience: Clinical/Medical Office/Managed Care Experience 1-2 years preferred or Nursing Assistant Experience 0-1 year preferred

• Knowledgeable in general nursing assistant practices, personal care and basic medical services.
• Knowledgeable of patient rights, privacy and confidentiality.
• Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs of patients and employees.
• Understands and is committed to maintaining highest level of confidentiality and adheres to policies on confidentiality.
• Good communication skills both written and oral.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
