Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking an Accounting professional to manage venue revenue and expense accounts and to assist with reconciliations and month-end close processes. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and 1-3 years of related experience, with strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical abilities.

Oracle experience is a plus and strong organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter month-end journal entries.
• Reconcile Sales system with General Ledger and ensure GAAP/SOX compliance.
• Maintain and reconcile basic to moderately complex accounts.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports and schedules.
• Review and manage P-Card processes and transactions.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Manage accounting for individual venue revenue and expense accounts
• Assist Accountants and Manager with account reconciliations or ad hoc requests
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and enter month end journal entries.
• Reconciling Sales system with General Ledger Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures / policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Maintains, controls and reconciles accounts that are basic to moderately complex
• Prepares daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports and schedules.
• Review and manage P-Card process and transactions.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
