Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for the Fox Theater Riverside. You will oversee facility operations, maintenance, and staff supervision, ensuring safe, efficient venue performance during shows and non-show days.

You will manage budgets, licensing, and municipal relationships, while collaborating with the General Manager and national teams to implement Live Nation policies. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management.
  • At least two years as House/Operations Manager or similar.
  • Experience dealing with police and public officials.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of facility operations and maintenance (FOH, preventive maintenance, contracts).
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and supervision of multiple departments (Security, Maintenance, Cleaning, Usher).
  • Develop and monitor annual/quarterly operating budgets and repair/maintenance expenses.
  • Ensure licensing/compliance and certifications are up to date.
  • Coordinate with city, police, fire, and other municipal departments.

This position exercises overall responsibility for facility operations and physical plant, partnering with the leadership team in the market. This is an exempt role reporting to the General Manager.**WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO*** Responsible for managing all aspects of facility operations and maintenance, including but not limited to, front of house operations, preventive maintenance, third party contracting, limited governmental relationships, staffing, and ongoing venue set-up and tear-down, Production, Box Office, and all other departments.* Must ensure that all outstanding tasks are handled either personally or through delegation to other staff members when appropriate.* Develops and oversees overhead expense budgets for repairs and maintenance and venue supply expenses.* Works with General Manager, to assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly operations budgets.* Ensure optimum operating condition of all facility equipment, such as crowd control devices, HVAC, Elevators, and other facility maintenance.* Perform routine housekeeping and grounds maintenance to ensure all facilities and exterior areas within the property lines remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.* Meet with city, venue maintenance dept and third-party contractors for any Repairs & maintenance projects.* Ensure licensing and compliance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis are complete and certifications are up to date.* Development and maintenance of municipality relationships including city, police, fire, and other departments.* Responsible for all required governmental reports and files.* Implementation and execution of all Live Nation policies, procedures and programs and ensure that company standards are maintained.* Assist with new hire onboarding and training for in-sourced positions as well as ensuring proper onboarding.* Assist with recruiting, hiring, training and supervising part-time staff/supervisors of multiple departments including but not limited to: Security, Maintenance, Cleaning and Usher/Ticket Taker.* Manages any and all training programs and ongoing development of event staff.* Commit to providing a safe and enjoyable facility for guests and employees.* This position oversees and ensures the execution of all operating department compliance policies and procedures.* Investigates and resolves guest related complaints.* Maintains and monitors records of all incident reports and investigates/manages all pending cases, including interviewing staff or other witnesses and attending arbitration hearings when necessary.* Effectively manages and approves all payroll for in-house departments.* This position is responsible for being present onsite for day of show and non-show operations.* Other duties as assigned.**WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING*** Candidate is a proven leader with strong management and communications skills* Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management is required* Minimum two years’ experience as House/Operations Manager or a comparable role* Experience dealing with police and public officials* Empathy, patience, and sensitivity to the needs of individuals with disabilities* A natural interest in helping others and a heart for service.
