Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment seeks a data analyst to join Venue Nation’s Fan Research & Strategy team, driving data-driven decisions across marketing, F&B, and venue operations. You will collect, analyze, and democratize fan data, shaping insights for strategic initiatives in a brand-new, highly visible unit.

The role requires 1–2 years in consumer insights, survey design experience, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years in consumer insights role, agency or in-house.
  • Experience writing surveys, interview guides, and focus group guides.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize large data sets.
  • Keen eye for data accuracy in reporting.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint; able to craft polished reports.
  • Experience with self-service survey tools e.g., Qualtrics or Alida.
  • Experience with data visualization/analytics tools (SPSS, Displayr, Tableau, R) is a plus.
  • Willing to pitch in on all phases of research projects.
  • Ability to iterate quickly and adapt to business needs.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and good communicator.
  • Eager to learn new platforms and methodologies.
  • Passionate about live music, media, and culture.
  • Based in greater NYC area and onsite 3 days/week.
  • Willing to travel to venues nationwide.

THE JOB

Venue Nation is seeking a highly driven data analyst to bring their passion for live music and data to the team as an Analyst of Fan Research & Strategy.

The Venue Nation Fan Research & Strategy team is responsible for incorporating the fan perspective into all aspects of decision‑making for our portfolio of venues. From marketing initiatives to food and beverage strategies, we are hyper‑fixedated on ensuring all decisions are data‑driven, and this role will play a key part in collecting, analyzing, and democratizing fan data. This is a brand new, highly visible team with exciting potential for growth. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Support the Fan Research manager on all research projects across quantitative and qualitative methodologies
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to distribute research activities among a highly passionate audience
  • Design questionnaires, program surveys, monitor fieldwork, analyze data, and synthesize results
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence strategy and decision‑making
  • Incorporate first‑party transaction data in primary research findings to deliver cohesive, data‑driven stories
  • Work collaboratively across all lines of business including food & beverage, fan experience, venue operations, and premium services to drive innovation across the organization
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1‑2 years of work experience in consumer insights, either at a market research agency or in‑house at an entertainment, media, or consumer brand
  • Proven experience writing surveys, in‑depth interview guides, and focus group discussion guides
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize large data sets into clear, actionable insightsKeen eye for detail – especially when it comes to data accuracy in reporting
  • Proficient in PowerPoint; comfortable creating polished, visually engaging reports
  • Experience with self‑service survey tools like Qualtrics or Alida
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., SPSS, Displayr, Tableau, R) is a plus
  • Willingness to pitch in on every phase of a research project — from programming a survey to presenting results
  • Ability to iterate quickly and adapt to business needs with agility
  • Self‑motivated by nature – someone who thrives in uncertainty and isn’t afraid to take charge
