Job summary

Passages Malibu is seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our clinical team in Malibu, California. The LMFT will provide individual, group, and family therapy, conduct assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans to support recovery and relationship healing.

The role requires a CA LMFT license, a valid CA driver license, and eligibility to supervise Level II staff. A flexible schedule is expected in a 24/7 healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Current, valid California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Current, valid California Driver License with satisfactory driving record.
• Level II requires supervision eligibility for Associate Clinicians as applicable.
• TB screening, background checks, driving record checks, drug screening, and professional references as part of pre-employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy with emphasis on relational healing.
• Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments to identify client needs and treatment priorities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and follow-up plans based on client goals.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to implement comprehensive plans.
• Supervise Associates and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Support clients in developing insight and sustainable recovery tools.
