Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a start-up building AI for the wealth space leveraging supervised learning or Generative AI solutions. With strategic industry partners, this company is growing their Data Science team to drive collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation.
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have previous experience with end-to-end productionalization, building RAG pipelines and fine-tuning using reinforcement learning. What do you do?
- Design and fine-tune open source and proprietary LLMs for various tasks using reinforcement learning.
- Build advanced Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Design, build, and optimize inference models to improve model performance and accuracy.
- Deploy models into production environments and implement metrics for model performance.
- Collaborate with product team and software engineering team to build end-to-end product systems.
What do you need?
- Experienced in the field of LLM and well-versed with the current and latest state-of-the-art research.
- Hands-on experience in various LLM fine-tuning techniques (e.g. LORA), LLM inference frameworks (e.g. vLLM), and advanced RAG pipelines.
- 2+ years of practical experience in the development of generative AI applications.
- Experienced in inference modelling and computer use is highly preferred.
- Ph.D./Masters/Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or relevant field with publications at reputable machine learning conferences or journals.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Is a top performer and has a proactive, "doer", and problem-solver mentality.
- Is highly flexible, has a good tolerance for ambiguity, and can quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- Is an exceptional team player with solid communication skills.
