Recruiting from Scratch is building an interoperable layer across many LLM APIs with a unified interface. You will handle API transformations between OpenAI and Anthropic, and contribute to a provider-agnostic platform via session management and /v1/responses.

You’ll work with fast‑moving founders on architecture and product decisions, own critical code paths, and influence developer tooling used by thousands of engineers worldwide through our Python SDK.

Qualificações

• 1–2+ years of production backend/full-stack experience.
• Experience building APIs and backend services, preferably FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with the OpenAI API is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of modern LLM APIs and integration approaches.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain an interoperability layer across many LLM APIs and providers.
• Develop transformations between OpenAI/Anthropic specs and native formats.
• Create provider-agnostic features including session management and /v1/responses.
• Design gateway-level systems for skills, compaction, and model features.
• Contribute to developer infrastructure via the Python SDK used by millions.
• Collaborate with founders on architecture, product, and engineering decisions.
• Engage with developers and customers to translate feedback into improvements.
• Ship quickly and take ownership of implementation and product decisions.
