Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Transplant Outreach Coordinator to act as the clinical expert liaison among the Liver transplant programs, patients and referring physicians in the greater Los Angeles area.

The role supports continuing medical and nursing education initiatives and coordinates outreach activities to advance patient care and program development. A BSN is required with MSN preferred, and California RN licensure is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3 years nursing experience as Transplant Coordinator required.
• Liver transplant experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of case management required.
• Experience in Data Management required.
• Experience in coordinating large-scale community-based projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between the Liver transplant programs, the patients and the referring physicians.
• Support the vision of the program directors in planning continuing medical and nursing education opportunities.
• Coordinate outreach activities and education initiatives in the greater Los Angeles area.

What will you be doing in this role?

As a Transplant Outreach Coordinator, you will be the clinical expert who serves as the liaison between the Liver transplant programs, the patients and the referring physicians; the outreach coordinator supports the vision of the medical and surgical program directors in planning continuing medical and nursing education opportunities in the greater Los Angeles area.

Qualifications

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience as Transplant Coordinator required
• Liver Transplant experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of case management required
• Experience in Data Management required
• Experience in coordinating large-scale community-based projects preferred

Education

• BSN required
• MSN preferred

License/Certification/Registration

• Current, unrestricted California RN License required
• Specialty or Transplant Certification required or obtain within one year from start date
• BLS from the American Heart Association required
