Job summary

DHR Health is establishing a liver transplant program and seeks a gastroenterologist/hepatologist with transplant training to join in hands-on development. This Level I Trauma Center offers exposure to comprehensive care for liver disease, including living donor transplantation, within a teaching hospital setting.

The role provides opportunities for faculty appointment, teaching, and research, along with competitive compensation and benefits at a large physician-owned hospital.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology with Transplant Hepatology fellowship.
• Fellowship training in Transplant Hepatology (or Internal Medicine with fellowship in Transplant Hepatology).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of the liver transplant program and related clinical care.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced liver disease and liver failure, including transplantation.

Education

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist with fellowship training in Transplant Hepatology

Fellowship training in Transplant Hepatology (or Internal Medicine with fellowship in Transplant Hepatology)
