Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Florida's Weston location is seeking a board-certified/eligible Anesthesiology Physician with advanced experience in liver transplant anesthesia. The role focuses on complex surgeries within a premier academic medical center and collaborates with a dedicated team.

The successful candidate will participate in teaching residents, engage in research, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, while maintaining patient-centered care in a high-volume transplant setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.
• Fellowship training and/or significant clinical experience in Liver Transplant Anesthesia.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

• Practice at a world-renowned academic medical center with a busy liver transplant program.
• Collaborate with a team of anesthesiologists and intensivists.
• Participate in complex high-acuity procedures including orthotopic liver transplants and beyond transplant.
• Work in a quaternary referral center handling high volumes of complex solid organ transplants.
• Engage in academic activities, including teaching residents and participating in research and quality improvement.

• Join a collaborative, patient-centered team of highly trained anesthesiologists and intensivists
• Participate in complex, high-acuity procedures including orthotopic liver transplants but not limit your practice to only transplant
• Opportunity to work in a quaternary referral center with a high volume of complex solid organ transplant cases
• Engage in academic activities, including teaching of residents, and participation in research and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency
• Fellowship training and/or significant clinical experience in:
  • Liver Transplant Anesthesia
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Current Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Florida
• Call - One week every four weeks
