Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care Cave Creek is seeking a Live-In Caregiver to provide on-site personal care and companionship to a female client in the Cave Creek/Carefree area. You will collaborate with our team to protect the client’s independence and dignity while assisting with daily living activities, sleep/wake routines, light housekeeping, meals, transfers, transportation, and calendar coordination.

Schedule is live-in with a private bedroom: 3.5 days on, 3.5 days off, Sunday 7am–Wednesday 3pm

Qualifications

• Must be a pet lover; friendly dogs and livestock on the property.
• Minimum of one year professional caregiving experience.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship to the client in her home, including shower assistance and standby restroom assistance.
• Assist with daily living activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, transfers, and bathing.
• Support morning and evening routines, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Offer transportation assistance for appointments or errands.
• Learn to log into a computer to view the calendar with the client’s schedule.

Role Overview:

As a Live-In Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care Cave Creek, you will be responsible for providing on-site personal care and assistance to a female client in the Cave Creek/Carefree area. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure that the client’s needs are met while maintaining her independence and dignity.

Schedule:

Live in with private bedroom - 3.5 days on, 3.5 days off

Sunday 7am-Wednesday 3pm or Wednesday 3pm-Sunday 7am

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and companionship to the client in her home, including: full shower assistance; standby restroom assistance; conversation.

Assist the client with daily living activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, transfers, shower etc.

Support the client with morning and evening routines, ensuring her comfort and dignity.

Offer transportation assistance to the client for appointments or errands.

Basics of logging in to a computer to view a calendar with the client's appointment schedule

Qualifications:

MUST be a pet lover - there are friendly dogs in the house and livestock animals on the property.

A minimum of one year of professional caregiving experience with experience in: showering, personal cares, dressing, laundry, and meal preparation.

Strong communication skills in English. This client enjoys conversation!
