Position Overview

Certified Anesthesiology Assistant – Full‑time – HCA Florida Mercy Hospital, Miami, FL.

Team & Work Environment

• Anesthesia Care Team Model: 17 Physicians and 24 AHP’s.
• Approximately 12,000 annual cases.
• 12 state‑of‑the‑art operating rooms: 10 main, 1 endoscopy, 1 electrophysiology, 2 labor & delivery.
• Case mix includes General, Orthopedic, Plastics, ENT, Urology, Vascular, Neuro and Gynecology.
• Autonomy to perform regional blocks (spinals and epidurals), arterial lines and other procedures.

Schedule & Call

• Shift lengths: 8, 10 or 12 hours.
• Scheduling evenly distributed among the group.
• One weekend call approximately every 7–8 weeks; weekday call variable but infrequent.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: approximately $45,000. Start‑date bonus available.
