Job summary

Faxon Firearms in Fairfield, Ohio is looking for a Live Tool CNC Lathe Operator responsible for setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC lathes with live tooling. This critical role ensures part quality and machine performance during the second shift.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of multi-axis turning operations and will demonstrate proficiency in reading blueprints, tool setups, and in-process inspections. Experience with Doosan lathes and Fanuc controls is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and using standard inspection tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on second shift.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes, preferably Doosan.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Doosan CNC lathes with live tooling.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Conduct part inspections using precision measuring tools.
