Job summary

FOX News Channel is seeking a per diem Studio Technician to support live broadcasts and pre-taped specials in a fast-paced top-10 market. You will direct the floor, manage talent, and operate camera and lighting equipment to maintain broadcast quality.

The role requires adaptability to changing rundowns and the ability to handle high-pressure environments while maintaining accuracy and safety across the control room.

Qualifications

• Two years of television station experience; live newscast crew preferred.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written, under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work varying hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Floor Directing for live newscasts and taped specials.
• Coordinate talent movement to positions safely and on time.
• Operate JIB cameras and step up to robotic pedestals for on-air shots.
