Job summary

Gamer’s Choice in Queens, NY seeks a Live Stream Sales Leader to drive day-to-day performance of the team, ensure strong stream coverage and shopping results, and coach members in real-time to elevate the program.

You will oversee streamers, manage schedules, train on pacing and engagement, and ensure high-quality customer experiences across live shows.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in live operations management, studio production, retail management, creator/streamer support, or similar fast-paced operational environments.
• Prior experience working with leadership and employee performance management, preferably with revenue targets as a performance goal.
• Strong time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple streams simultaneously.
• Ability to manage staff schedules, break rotations, or shift coverage.
• Strong communication skills for real-time feedback, coaching, and direction to streamers.
• Experience training staff on customer engagement, callouts, product handling, and performance standards.
• Understanding of customer engagement best practices to ensure high-quality viewer experience.
• Prior experience with streamers, content creators, live shopping platforms, or broadcast environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee streamers during live shows, ensuring they follow the proper run of show, pacing, and on-brand experience.
• Train, coach, and manage Live Stream performance, track metrics, troubleshoot, and coach underperforming shows and associates.
• Ensure streamers have inventory and backup products ready before and during shifts.
• Manage the streaming floor by assigning stations, coordinating breaks, and maintaining smooth daily workflows.
• Train new streamers on callouts, pacing, viewer interaction, show structure, and item handling.
• Provide management with updates on performance, pacing issues, errors, coaching feedback, and escalations.
• Ensure streams meet performance goals (pace, sales, engagement) through coaching and support.
• Track and report sales metrics and viewer engagement to inform improvements and future strategy.
• Manage Live Stream team schedules and coverage for all shifts.

Role

Leading the day-to-day performance of the Live Stream Sales team. Ensuring strong stream coverage, driving sales results, and coaching team members in real-time to elevate the overall livestream program.

Compensation

$66,300 - $75,000 annually

Responsibilities

Oversee streamers during live shows, ensuring they follow the proper run of show, maintain pacing, and deliver an engaging, on-brand experience.

• Train, coach, and manage Live Stream performance, tracking individual and average show performance, troubleshooting and coaching underperforming shows, and Live Stream Sales associates, ensuring that stream performance is on target with set goals.
• Ensure streamers have all required inventory and backup products ready before and during their shifts.
• Manage the streaming floor by assigning stations, coordinating breaks, and maintaining smooth daily workflows across all streamers.
• Train new streamers on callouts, pacing, viewer interaction, show structure, and correct item handling to maintain a high-quality customer experience.
• Provide management with regular updates on stream performance, pacing issues, operational errors, coaching feedback, and any necessary escalations.
• Ensure all streams are consistently meeting set performance goals, including pace, sales targets, and customer engagement, through real-time coaching, feedback, and proactive support.
• Reliable tracking and reporting of sales metrics and viewer engagement to inform improvements and future stream strategy.
• Manage Live Stream team schedules and coverage for all shifts

Requirements

Nice to have

• Prior experience or strong familiarity with the Pokémon TCG.
• Prior experience selling on Whatnot, TikTok Live, or other live shopping platforms.
• Deep knowledge of TCG trends, collectibles market, and audience preferences.
• Basic video or audio setup knowledge (lights, camera, mic, etc.).

• Live Stream sales targets are consistently met across all shows through real-time coaching and performance management.
• Live streams run smoothly, on time, and with strong pacing and energy.
• Stream coverage is fully staffed and organized with no downtime or gaps.
