Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Broadcast Production, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in television news, sports programming, or live broadcast production.
• Experience pitching, developing, and producing live reporter packages and guest segments.
• Proven experience writing and producing content for live television.
• Strong understanding of broadcast production workflows and newsroom operations.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular use of computers, broadcast systems, production tools, and video conferencing technology.
• Schedule flexibility including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Pitch, develop, and write content related to latest national, international, and sports news stories.
• Produce segments supporting daily shows and special programming.
• Deliver quick-turn packages while maintaining high editorial standards.
• Write scripts and collaborate with Senior Producers to refine elements.
• Coordinate graphics, video, sound, and other production elements for live segments.
• Organize and oversee all creative components required to execute segments.
• Create banners and supporting graphic elements as needed.
• Identify and pitch engaging story ideas, guests, and interview opportunities.
• Monitor trends to identify content opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
