Job summary

The Graphics Operator at PGA TOUR Studios will oversee live graphics across studio and remote productions, ensuring accurate real-time scoring, branding, and sponsor elements. You will work closely with producers and directors to execute graphics cues, build templates, and troubleshoot systems during broadcasts.

The ideal candidate has a technical Broadcast background, strong timing discipline, and comfort working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or related technical education required.
• Minimum 3 years broadcast television or related experience at the regional to large market or network level.
• Experience with Chyron and Ross XPression, or similar platforms, including data integration and real-time graphics workflows.
• Strong understanding of live production timing, control room operations, and cue execution under pressure.
• Ability to build, edit, and manage graphic templates, lower thirds, and sponsor elements with editorial accuracy.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with graphics systems during live broadcasts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with producers, directors, and technical teams.
• Commitment to brand consistency and attention to detail.
• Experience with scoring system interfaces is preferred.
• Sports production background preferred, specifically the game of golf.

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast graphics systems (Chyron, Ross XPression) during live events with flawless execution.
• Manage real-time updates for scores, statistics, timing, and data feeds.
• Coordinate with producers/directors to execute graphics cues as scripted or called.
• Build, edit, and maintain graphic templates, lower thirds, and sponsor elements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve graphics system issues quickly to avoid on-air disruptions.
• Ensure graphics adhere to PGA TOUR branding standards across all elements.
• Adapt to evolving production needs and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Operate graphics systems and related equipment proficiently.
• Pre-build and reload graphics; advise production staff on element creation.
• Report equipment problems to Engineering and assist in location checks.
