Job summary

The Dallas Mavericks are seeking an energetic Production Assistant to support our TV broadcast team. This entry-level role offers hands-on learning alongside producers, directors, and staff to deliver high-quality sports content.

Qualifications include a passion for sports media, multitasking ability, and willingness to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends. Bachelor's degree in broadcasting is preferred, with prior TV or live sports experience advantageous.

Qualifications

This role is entry-level with a focus on learning on the job.
Experience in television, film, or live sports production is preferred but not required.
Strong interest in live sports production and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Assist with content shoots by operating cameras and supporting production crews.
Prepare and edit content clips for game broadcasts and shoulder programming.
Set up and breakdown production equipment before and after broadcasts.
Support the production crew during Mavs games across all phases.
Capture, log, and organize video footage and highlight reels.
Help manage on-screen graphics, stats, and visual elements during broadcasts.
Assist producers and directors with schedules and scripts for smooth broadcasts.
Research player stats and team history to enhance content accuracy.
Address on-the-fly needs during live or taped segments.
