Job summary

Carowinds is seeking a Live Shows Technician to support our Live Entertainment Department in building new shows, attractions and events. You should have a background in audio, lighting, networking or show control and be ready to operate equipment in a fast-paced amusement park.

Responsibilities include supporting show rigs and control systems, troubleshooting on the fly, and collaborating with a team to deliver memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience on productions in a fully equipped theater or similar setting.
• Ability to troubleshoot show systems and software promptly.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support and operate audio, lighting, networking and show-control tasks for live shows.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues during performances.
• Collaborate with team to install and maintain show rigs and control systems.
