Job summary

Six Flags New England is seeking a Show and Stage Technician to keep performances running smoothly in a dynamic outdoor venue in Agawam, MA. The role covers lighting, sound, and show elements with pay starting at $16/hour and requires readiness for audition events on August 7 and 8.

Responsibilities include executing live show elements, memorizing blocking, setting up equipment, and maintaining safety. Candidates should be able to work outdoors in varying weather and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lighting controls, sound mixing boards and microphones.
• Previous technical theater work experience preferred in sound, lighting, scenic or carpentry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Executing live technical show elements including audio, lighting and other show elements as directed.
• Learning and memorizing show blocking and cues.
• Setting sound & lighting equipment, special effects, props and scenery before and after each performance.
• Assisting with maintenance and cleaning of seating area.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies.
• Assisting in other areas of the Entertainment Department as needed.
• Performing other incidental duties as required and assigned.
• Able to troubleshoot sound and technical issues during live performances.
• Able to work in outdoor locations in various weather conditions.
• Meet the physical demands of the job, including long walking/standing periods and heights.
