Position Overview

Pay Range: 52K-60K Annual

Typical Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM

We're seeking a dependable and energetic Shift Supervisor to support our live box breaking team during assigned shifts. As the primary support resource for box breakers, you'll help keep live operations running smoothly by solving problems, troubleshooting technical issues, managing break listings across our selling platforms, and providing real-time guidance throughout the shift.

Success in this role means keeping streams running, helping breakers succeed, resolving issues quickly, and creating a positive experience for both customers and teammates. This position requires sound judgment, a calm approach under pressure, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced live production environment.

This position supports the day-to-day operation of the shift. Hiring, scheduling, performance management, and disciplinary responsibilities remain with management.

Key Responsibilities

Shift Operations

Serve as the primary support resource for breakers during assigned shifts.

Monitor live streams and help ensure shows run smoothly and efficiently.

Make real-time operational decisions to minimize downtime and keep streams on schedule.

Support breakers with operational questions and day-to-day problem solving.

Recognize when operational, personnel, or customer issues require management involvement and escalate appropriately.

Willingness to Appear on and occasionally run Live Streams

Platform Administration

Create and publish break listings across supported live-selling platforms.

Ensure break listings are accurate, complete, and available before scheduled streams.

Support breakers with platform navigation and administrative tasks.

Maintain organization and accuracy across active break listings.

Technical Support

Troubleshoot issues involving streaming software, hardware, internet connectivity, cameras, audio, and selling platforms.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting live broadcasts.

Escalate technical issues that cannot be resolved during the shift.

Team Support & Training

Assist with onboarding and training new breakers.

Provide guidance on company procedures, platform functionality, and operational best practices.

Coach breakers through real-time situations while promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Share knowledge and resources to help team members grow and succeed.

Live Customer Support

Assist breakers in resolving customer concerns during live broadcasts.

Help de-escalate challenging customer situations while maintaining a positive and professional experience, with both live and written communications.

Step in when appropriate to support breakers during difficult on-stream interactions.

Escalate customer issues requiring management review or approval.

Qualifications

Required

Knowledgeable about Football, Basketball, and Baseball.

Ability lift up to 30 lbs and climb stairs

Preferred

Previous experience in a lead, key holder, shift lead, or similar role in retail, hospitality, customer service, live events, or another fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with sports cards, Pokémon, or other collectible hobbies.

Experience with live selling or livestream platforms.

Experience using Whatnot, Fanatics Live, TikTok Shop, or similar platforms.

Experience training, coaching, or mentoring others.
