Pilgrim’s in the United States is hiring a Live Production Loader operator (30308). CDL is required. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and unload, and transport the forklift on a lowboy to predetermined farms, while following all SOPs for Live Haul.

Essential Functions and Methods
CDL required. Responsible for pre-tripping, post-tripping, loading, unloading, and transporting fork lift on lowboy to predetermined farm. Fork lift driver will then take empty cages, from trailers, into chicken houses set empty cage down, pick up full cage bring them out of houses and place onto trailers. This should be done in approximately 45 minutes per load. Lift driver is required to follow all SOP for Live Haul. Experience a plus.
Be aware of surrounding at all time, and use extreme caution when maneuvering Fork Lift.
Be alert, other employees will be working in close vicinity to the Lift inside and outside of the chicken house.
Must be able to think and react quickly.
Normally 40 to 50 hrs per week.
Lift driver normally loads between 7 and 13 loads per day.
