Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Familiarity with HASC organization, goals and policies.
• Ability to use Windows MS Office programs and Internet browsers.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends or travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check in trainees and verify identification before testing.
• Monitor trainees during training events.
• Communicate lab rules and policies to ensure adherence to HASC rules.
• Explain course and exam processes to trainees.
• Provide technical assistance for course navigation, login, or equipment setup.
• Understand testing procedures and adhere to quality and security measures.
• Report irregularities to management immediately.
• Maintain professional and respectful demeanor; cover breaks as needed.
• Report course problems to Supervisor of Live Online Proctoring promptly.

Position Overview

The 30+ year company supports the petrochemical and manufacturing industry domestically and internationally and is positioned along the Gulf Coast providing training, occupational medicine, and innovative solutions to industry. Live Online Proctors are responsible for proctoring trainees via virtual labs.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Checks in trainees and verifies identification prior to testing
• Monitors trainees throughout training event
• Communicates lab rules and policies to trainees as needed while proctoring to ensure adherence to HASC rules and policies
• Explains the course and/or exam processes
• Assists trainees with technical assistance related to course navigation, login process, or equipment setup
• Understands testing procedures for each exam and adheres to company quality and security measures
• Reports suspected irregularities or trainee behavior to management immediately
• Responsible for maintaining professional and respectful demeanor
• Assists with covering for lunches and breaks
• Reports all course problems or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner to the Supervisor of Live Online Proctoring
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.)
• Knowledge and understanding of HASC organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
• Ability to use Windows Microsoft Office programs and Internet Browsers
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments or at different locations if the company need arises

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to read, talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle training equipment and tools, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds. Reporting Responsibilities

The Live Online Proctor reports directly to the Supervisor of Live Online Proctoring; for Louisiana areas the Operation Manager or site Supervisor on duty. This position does not have direct reports.
