Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full‑time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on‑campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8‑13 students living in the home.

Flex Houseparents start by supporting various student homes on a rotating nine‑days‑on schedule, then transition into a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27+.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities with students.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
