Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents living in on-campus student homes, caring for 8–13 students and providing guidance and supervision.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, transportation to activities, leading devotions, and budgeting. Benefits include housing, meals, health insurance, retirement options, relocation support, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
