Job summary

EF Honolulu seeks a Residential Advisor to ensure the well-being of international students, reporting to the Housing Manager. This on-site, live-in role requires flexibility, leadership, and a people-first approach.

You'll manage check-ins, organize weekly activities, support safeguarding, and collaborate with the Housing Team to create a welcoming, inclusive community in Hawaii. Prior RA experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Full working rights in the United States.
• Motivated and responsible with strong leadership skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to varied duties in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to build a welcoming and inclusive community for residents.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming students and managing check-ins/outs during weekend shifts.
• Weekly room checks and maintaining quality standards in student facilities.
• Emergency on-call support with safeguarding and student welfare as priorities.
• Plan and lead events and activities on-campus and around the city.
• Collaborate with Housing Team to foster a home-away-from-home atmosphere.
• Provide positive role modeling in communication, decision-making and problem solving.
• Represent EF’s commitment to excellent customer service.
