Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks full-time Flex Houseparents who are married couples to live in on-campus homes and care for a group of 8-13 students. The role requires supervision, routine management, medication administration, and engaging in activities to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role; married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; ability to be certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel activities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
