Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising a group of 8-13 students and providing guidance, daily routines, devotions, and activities to support growth and development.

Initial duties cover multiple homes with a transition to a Placed Houseparent role. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and relocation/training support for qualified couples.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreation.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
