Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students living in the home.

Flex Houseparents begin with nine days on duty followed by three days off, then may transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Work nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off; transition to Placed Houseparent.
